Our range of services is wide and all-inclusive. Filming
Our acquisition is mainly high quality digital media, DV and DVCAM using broadcast quality cameras such as the Sony DXC D-55 & HXC 100's for HD. Thanks to these formats video production has declined in costs over recent years enabling more companies to afford high quality productions.
Editing
SFL use a flexible non destructive, non-linear digital editing system allowing us to organise video, animations, graphics, visuals and audio media in the exact required order quickly and efficiently.
Encoding
Video is everywhere these days but sadly it needs to be in the correct format for it to be viewed on and in specific applications. This is where encoding comes in. With the correct combination of hardware and software video can be transferred into the correct format enabling repurposing for portable devices, web based applications, hand held devices, DVD's and more. You name it and it's probably possible. This makes video an even more cost effective medium to use.
Event filming
Over the last fifteen years SFL have been involved in many events providing live to screen footage for easy viewing at large outdoor events. The option of recording such events to digital media, either to tape or even straight to DVD, is easily possible without substantial extra cost. The option of using isolated recording feeds from all cameras, means it is possible to edit versions of the events with shot choices differing from those choices of the director at the time of the event at a later date.
Conferencing
SFL have been working in live conferencing for 12 years. Most of our conference video work is providing the live to screen relay of the stage enabling better viewing for delegates but it also involves the production and sourcing of playback material for such events. Past clients include KIA Motors, SMK/Anchor Homes, and many more.
