Digi-Design Venue Profile, Stage Rack System

After much evaluation and consultation with engineers SFL have added a Venue Profile system to Hire stock.

The standard configuration for the stage rack is 48ch Input with 16 Analogue outputs and 8 AES outputs (other options available)

Along with the investment into the console SFL have also purchased a dedicated mulitcore for this console with the specific cable for the digi-design system along with 8 channels of twisted pair audio and 16A mains

Yamaha M7-48ES

To meet demand we have added 2 x Yamaha M7-48ES (v3) digital mixing consoles into hirestock each desk is supplied with 3 x ES1608 digital stage boxes.

d&b Q1 and J- Sub

Due to continued demand SFL are pleased to announce further investment in loudspeaker technology, This includes an additional 12 x Q1 line array cabinets, 10 x D12 Amplifiers and 6 x J-Sub.

The J-SUB is an actively driven 2-way bass-reflex design housing three long excursion neodymium 18" drivers, two drivers face to the front and one driver to the rear. Capable of 138db driven by d&b’s D12 Amplifier.

This brings our total stock level of d&b to over 140 boxes and includes, Q1, Q7, Q10, Q-Sub, J-Sub, B2, Max Wedges, E3, E9

Roland M48 Personal monitor mixers

After much evaluation we have added 10 ways of M48 personal stage monitor mixers to hirestock. The M-48 is the next generation of live personal mixer that offers musicians the flexibly to control exactly what they want to listen to during their performances. It provides the highest level of sound monitoring quality for both headphones and IEMs (In-Ear Monitors) as well as for wedge and powered monitors.

The M-48 enables control of up to 40 audio channels via 16 stereo groups. No longer do you have to share the same sources and in the same order as everyone else. Each musician can choose what he or she wants to listen to - a truly personal mix

These units are in addition to the Aviom personal monitor system that we also retain in Hire-stock.

Roland S4000 Digital Multicore

S4000 has 32 inputs, 8 outputs and redundant Ethernet connectors. It is typically used on the stage providing 32 mic/line inputs and 8 outputs or returns. Each channel has remotely switchable Phantom Power as well as a 20 dB pad. The professional quality XR-1 mic preamps are remotely controllable in zipperless 1dB steps using the S-4000R Remote Controller or a Mac or PC using the free RSS-RCS software. The preamps have been designed for live sound applications and provide superb audio quality with 28 dB of headroom.

The redundant Ethernet connectors are rugged Neutrik Ethercon connectors configured as Main and Backup. In case the Main cable is compromised, the system will automatically and seamlessly switch to the Backup cable and light an Indicator LED. In addition to redundant Ethernet connectors SFL have also invested in the redundant power supply.
