Hillsong Conference
| Hillsong rocks out ExCeL, SFL uses an iPhone to keep everything running smoothly |

Production Company SFL provided the complete projection solution for Hillsong at their European conference. Hillsong conference is put on by Hillsong Church London; the conference is to equip the local church. It was held in the ExCeL exhibition centre in London. Hillsong wanted a video screen solution that would provide a massive canvas to the stage but also give the perception of multiple screens so that content could be separate out. The final idea was an adaption of the conference held in Sydney a few months earlier.

SFL achieved this by building a main truss support structure; within that they placed various different sized screens. Even the truss used to divide the screens was used as an effect; the lighting company put LED and tungsten lighting in the truss for colour warmers and crown blinders. The massive 20m wide screen was projected onto using 6 Barco 10K DLP projectors, signals were run in DVI over fibre and all the screen content was mixed using the Barco SPII image processing family.
AV Manager Craig Lawrence wanted to monitor the projectors status, electronics and core temperatures throughout the conference to avoid any failures. He used the Barco Projector Toolset software to do this and connected all the projectors to an SFL wireless network. He could even sit in the audience and monitor them on his iPhone
