SFL provided a complete technical solution incorporating Set, Stage, AV, Sound and Lighting on behalf of Yellow Communications in October of 2008.
The 30ft set was finished in white with blue decals and included an 8'x6' rear project screen, and custom printed logo boards. The set was then finished with a 1ft high by 28ft wide by 8ft deep stage, which was then professionally carpeted and edged in black.
The set and stage were then sympathetically lit using a combination of Fresnels and profiles, and LED Pars were used to uplight the set and a splash of extra colour.
The AV system, which was hidden out of view behind the set, compromised of a 5,000 lumen Christie LX projector, which was being fed from an Analog Way seamless switcher. 2 PC's were used to run the all important PowerPoint presentations (one as a main, one as back up), and playback was cued up using Denon professional DVD players.
The sound system compromised of SFL's own d&b stock, the main system compromising of Q7 with Q-SUB, along with a set of d&b E3's used as delay speakers. 4 channels of radio mic - 2 lapel and 2 Handhelds along with a pair of lectern mics were used ensuring that all the delegates could hear the action on stage loud and clearly. All of this was controlled using a Yamaha LS-9 digital mixing desk.
All of the above was set up and operated by SFL's own team of in house engineers.
The event, held at the Kassam Stadium, home to Oxford United Football Club, was run by Yellow Communications for Infineum employees to celebrate their vital contribution to the success of the company. |
