SFL Provides the Alternative Fashion World with a Sound Solution at the London Edge Trade Show

London Edge is the first, biggest and best show of its kind in the world. It allows designers to exhibit there Alternative Street and Club Wear. It caters to a group of some of the most exciting 'niches' in fashion, accessories and giftware. Collectively this results in an amazing presentation of merchandise unlike anything seen anywhere else in the world.

London Edge is a trade show happening at Olympia 2 on the ground and 1st floor. SFL were asked to provide a distributed PA system over the 2 floors all starting from the DJ area by the main front doors. Each of the 32 speakers has its own volume control so that the volume in each area can be controlled to keep all of the exhibitors happy. SFL also provide an engineer to stay on site throughout the show as support.

The whole system was run from the DJ position just in front of the main doors as you come into the show. There is also a separate system for the Fashion Show Stage. This system is turned off when the stage is not being used to give greater impact for the events happening on stage.

The speaker system was made up from Sherman Audio and HK Speakers controlled from a Sprit Live 3 mixing desk with a DBX compressor limiter to keep the system under control.
