SFL Go back in time with Upstage

1950s Rock and Roll Themed Party Rocks thanks to SFL upstage2mini

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

SFL was chosen to provide a sound solution for Upstage and the Lawrence Graham class of '57 party.

The 50's style graduation ball was held in the Grand Ballroom of the Park Lane Hilton, London to celebrate 50 years of business for Lawrence Graham and required 2 sound systems.

The main system in the ballroom comprised of 1 stack of d&b C7 either side of the stage with d&b max used as side fill for the outer tables to ensure clarity of speech during the event. Due to the size of the venue, 2 d&b E3's were positioned down either side of the room to guarantee even coverage throughout the entire room, especially for the speeches and announcements. These were powered using P1200 and QSC PL240 amplifiers and controlled by the Allen and Heath ML3000 mixing desk and facilities rack.

CD playback was required throughout the main front of house system to accompany the 50's Jive dancers who provided part of the entertainment for the event.

The Rock 'n' Roll band that provided much of the entertainment for the party required 4 d&b max monitors for fold back which were mixed by an Allen and Heath Mix Wizard from the side of the stage.

A small reception system that consisted of 4 d&b E3's CD player and small folio mixing desk was also used for announcements, background music and sound effects.
