After making the custom AV racks for Hillsong church London, SFL seemed the obvious choice to provide the additional equipment and camera channels for the live album recording.

It was a 6 camera production. There were 2 cameras at FOH with 40 x Canon lenses on them, a jib in one of the boxes, a tripod mounted camera near the stage in the audience and 2 hand held cameras. There were also 2 small broadcast DV cameras and a digibeta camera for additional footage.

All of the camera channels were digitally run in triax and SDI. Each of the individual cameras were iso'd including the main mix down to digi beta. All of these decks were syncronised with the same timecode and blackburst as the sound OB truck. Thus making the editing process easier.

There was one vision mixing rack and 2 engineering racks with scopes which ensured that the colour balance on the cameras always matched. The get in was tight so an army of crew took part in ensuring a smooth process, over 30 people from directors, to cam ops and general crew we used to insure that everything happened on time. SFL provided a full backup system equipment to ensure continuity if anything was to go wrong.
