When the Norwegian Embassy in Belgrave Square had a new statue to unveil they turned to Production Company - Complete Events to manage the unveiling. As a long standing customer, Complete Events looked to Managing Director Graham Preston and SFL, to provide the professional audio enhancement.

The unveiling was part of King Harald of Norway's - State visit to England, and was attended by HM Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh. The statue has been erected in the Garden of the Embassy in memory of King Harald's British born grandmother Queen Maud.

For the unveiling speeches sound coverage was provided using 8 D&B E3 speakers, discretely positioned among flower beds and foliage. The large number of speakers enabled microphones to be set low down, so as to provide the best photo opportunity for the large delegation of the worlds press. Due to the high profile nature of the event, back up equipment was in place to cover every eventuality, but none were used.
