In the presence of The Queen SFL help transform Westminster Abbey

In the presence of HM The Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, the Victoria Cross and George Cross Memorial was formally dedicated by the Dean of Westminster and installed within Westminster Abbey itself.

With over 30 years experience of filming events associated with H. M. The Queen and the Royal Household, BCA Films were commissioned to record the event from numerous camera's being shown live to screen on several plasma screens in the Abbey and produced a commemorative video to raise money for the VC & GC memorial appeal.

SFL were asked to supply plasma screens and a sound mix for the event and the partnership between BCA and SFL ensured the success of the event. SFL provided eight 50" Plasma Screens and three 42" Plasma screens, distributed around the Abbey and took care of the sound mix needed for the post production of the video by BCA films.

All aspects of the plasma screens from set-up, live screen mix and de-rig were taken care of by SFL. BCA Films provided a multi-camera set up using fixed, manned and robotic cameras. BCA films' post production crew created a fully edited commemorative video for the VC & GC Association.
